Academic Interests
Interested in contemporary, or "recent," theatrical Dance traditions, particularly the Downtown NYC dance community, as well as exploring through dance studies theories of the body and their political implications.
Biography
Has called New York "home" for the past seven years. Studied dance as practice, history, and theory, and continues to work with all three aspects of it. Has performed in NYC, in Berlin, Germany and Nagoya, Japan, and currently contributes to the Movement Research Performance Journal.
